Behold the birth of “GRIT” Rock. Behold the birth of “THE BLACK RIFLES.”

The Black Rifles are a Hard Hitting, Raw, Unapologetic GRIT Rock 3-piece band hailing from (Broxbourne, UK). 2 guitars and drums.

They just press the “record” button and off they go, creating the songs on the spot by letting the words and music flow. And their ”Mold-Breaking freestyle method of songwriting has had some impressive results.” The result of mainlining their creative thoughts straight onto mixing tapes is their Debut Album “GRIT”, a collection of moments in time captured forever. The result is a record buzzing with raw energy.

“We wanted to capture our real, raw sound and attitude to bring a new fresh feel and idea to Rock Music. We call it – GRIT” – The Black Rifles

Their influences range from legendary artists like Guns n Roses, Alice in Chains to newer acts such as Royal Blood and Frank Carter & The Rattlesnakes. The Black Rifles have been featured in the well known Arts & Music underground – Defunkt Magazine Volume 8, also in the US Rock Era Magazine & South American Indie Criollo Magazine to name a few. They have performed in London’s creative Hub Hekspace & One of London’s finest trendy live music venues – The Hoxton Underbelly in Shoreditch. They have shared the stage with the likes of other up and coming artists who are also getting industry attention such as Emilia Tarrant, Flowvers & Breakfast with Bears.

Career highlights: They have been featured in the Mercury Newspaper and have been dubbed as “the… rock era revival!”.

Music Of A Movement – The Black Rifles

“The music is very catchy, and it caught my ears easily. Includes raw vocals and riffs that reminds many 90’s iconic acts. IT’S JUST AMAZING! In my opinion, these guys will become the classic rock era revival!”

…the intense power … The dirt in its composition gives it an extra factor, which encourages anyone to break everything and not affect anyone who wants to destroy our surroundings due to the great force that this rock trip leaves us.”.
